Professional artist, Kristine Robatzek-Gieck understands the art of entertaining and has an outstanding reputation for creating dazzling events. Having earned tremendous success in the lifestyle arena, Kristine’s concepts inspire and fuse beauty with events.
Taking over Calgary’s longest running wedding business, Trans Canada Weddings Ltd. in 2005, Kristine introduced décor and coordinating services to the company. As lead designer, Kristine personally designed over 250 weddings and events. In January 2010,the company flowered with the addition of Dazzling Event Productions which now exclusively handles décor, coordinating and planning services. At the same time Kristine merged the rental department of Trans Canada Weddings with Dazzling Event Productions to offer customers everything they could possible need or want for their event.
Kristine is president of Dazzling Event Productions and of Trans Canada Weddings Ltd.
As a child Kristine began designing dramatic events choreographing theatrical shows complete with acrobatics, fine art and fictional ancient history with the neighborhood children in Vernon, British Columbia.
Cultivating a flair for stylish events while studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts at Okanagan University*, Kristine enjoyed entertaining students with art exhibitions along with themed fundraisers showcasing local musicians.
Byron Johnston, David Nash, Ana Mendieta, Marcelle Duchamp, Joseph Boyce and Andy Goldsworthy are some of the visual and conceptual artists that inspired Kristine.
After attending the Falmouth College of Art and Design in the UK for a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, Kristine emerged a businesswoman with a gift for theatrical styling.
Kristine lives in Calgary, Alberta with her husband Warren and their Jack Russell Terrier, Smeagle and Bichon Shitzu, Betty.
